Case Study · An Origin Story
The heartbeat of Titusville didn't have a website.
For twenty-five years, Missy's reputation lived in the booths — regulars, word of mouth, and a coffee cup that never ran empty. This is the story of building her first website, and making it feel like walking through her door.
01 · The diner
A gathering place, not just a diner.
Born and raised in Titusville, Missy Wescoat opened the doors on March 5, 2001, at just twenty-nine — she got her restaurant start at The Skillet, the lunch counter inside True Value Hardware. What she built is bigger than a diner: a gathering place where the coffee keeps coming and your waitress remembers your name.
02 · The problem
Twenty-five years of reputation. Zero web presence.
Everyone in town knows Missy's. But for everyone else — visitors, new families, anyone searching for breakfast in Titusville — there was nothing to find. No menu online, no hours, no story. A quarter century of reputation, invisible to the internet.
The Build
The website & the menus.
Before
A beloved diner with no online home at all.
The Build
A first-ever website and a full menu redesign, shaped around the personality regulars already loved.
After
Findable, shareable, and unmistakably Missy's — online at last.
03 · The part that can't be copied
Pink, neon, and "mind your own biscuits."
Walk into Missy's and you know exactly where you are: Coca-Cola memorabilia on every wall, vintage neon, bright pink everywhere, and hand-lettered sayings like "Mind your own biscuits and life will be gravy."
A template couldn't hold that much personality — so the site doesn't use one. It got a "Today's Specials" whiteboard like the one by her register, a polaroid wall of snapshots and smiles, and a Supporting Local section for the custom tabletops that celebrate Titusville's own businesses. It doesn't just describe the diner. It feels like it.
Mind your own biscuits, and life will be gravy.

When Chrissy did my menus and built my website, it was like she just KNEW me. The new breakfast menus rolled out and they were a BIG hit. I'm recommending her to every business owner I know.
